A sex glider (aka Monkey Rocker) is a self-powered sex machine that you control by rocking back and forth.
With every rock there’s a dildo that fills you up. You can control the depth and speed of penetration by using your legs or the handle for leverage.
A portrait i’ve drawn of my lover: the F-slider
I’ve found love gliders work for both solo and partner play, and the ones below fit any suction cup and O-ring compatible dildos.
The main downside of monkey rockers is that they can be expensive, so to help you find the best sex glider I put together this guide with overviews of the most popular models.
Sex Glider | Flowers Given | Height | Check Price |

The F-Slider is a good quality Monkey Rocker that’s made in the USA. Like the Love Glider above, it’s about two feet off the ground, i’m 5′ 7″ and it was a comfortable height for me.
It comes with a universal dildo holder which can hold a Vac-U-Lock dildo or any harness-able dildo. The angle of the dildo is also adjustable which lets you find the perfect spot. This makes it an especially good sex slider for trying out anal positions.
On my F-slider the joints were a bit squeaky out of the box. I used some white lithium spray on them and it went away completely. After writing the company about this they apologized and said that usually dosen’t happen.
While it’s good quality, it’s not any better than the Love Glider, and at $200 more expensive, it’s not really justified. For that reason, i only gave it 4 out of 5 flowers.
The very first sex rocker was the Monkey Rocker. It was created by “chief monkey” Dan Siechert over 10 years ago.
On the official website it says he stopped production recently, but is still accepting custom orders for $4000 a pop.
While it looks good, and i’d love to try it out, I can’t really afford a $4000 piece of sex furniture at the moment. Hopefully they can find a way to produce it more cheaply in the future.
This is an alternative to the monkey rocker that can get you a hands-free stimulation.
The panels on top are springy and elastic. After sitting on them you can ride the dildo by bouncing up and down.
Compared to glider it’s a little more bouncy and crazy. If you are looking for a workout and a sex toy, this will make you break a sweat.
The dildo mount is also removable, so you can substitute in your partner and use it like a sex aid. Sex stools are often used by people with knee injuries to have extra support during sex.
The Two Person Threesome
The monkey rocker lets you experience what it is like to have a threesome but with only two people. While you are getting penetrated from below you are free to perform oral on your partner.
The Partner Takeover – As you get closer to orgasm it might be hard to continue rocking. This is a great chance for the partner to continue rocking you back and forth on the glider. Talk about a great show!
Use Vibrators and Other Toys
The glider does all the work and leaves your hands free. You need to try using a vibrator for clit stimulation as you are riding. The only problem with this can be orgasms that are too intense to keep rocking.
Guys can use a sleeve toy instead of a vibrator.
For those who are do-it-yourself savvy it might be worth looking into making your own sex rocker. I personally haven’t tried this yet, but it is possible and there are some youtube guides that can help you get started.
Let us know in the comments if you know about any other models of monkey rocker. Also check out my guide on the best sex chairs and sex pillows if you want to learn about other kinds of sex furniture.

The differences between the first two: I notice that the F-Slider has an adjustable height to accommodate larger toys. Along with the angle seeming to go more straight up than the sex glider. Can you confirm?
The F-Slider is not flimsy at all, lol. You can adjust depth and angle.
Thank you for the reviews.
I was going to try and make one I had some ideas for improvement I sent away for the plans they were 9.99 us. But they were a no show . I make furniture so making one should not be a problem it was the mechanics i need most. I do think the original is a little boxy though.
Hi Rob, where did you get the plans for a rocker from, i got mine from the following website about 2 years ago, cost me about $15 i think.
That was the one i made, but the plans were so complicated to decifer, and the bolts he specified were inferior, and the way he attached each part was lame, and not very sturdy or safe for my liking, so i used much better bolts and fittings on mine.
I also had to ship the pivoting rocker arms in from USA as we cannot buy them here in Australia, and they cost me a fortune, by far the most expensive item i had to buy, the 3mm thick (1/8″) aluminium plate was the next most expensive item, but not much more expensive than the 12mm MDF board that he specified, and a lot stronger as well.
I have a set of plans for my Rocker, including measurements, hole locations and hardware needed, which i can send to you if you email me at [email protected]
About the last item on the list the Monkey Rocker, how does it arrive upon delivery? My question is because I want to know if it can be carried in a suit case or if it is too large for that.
I think you mean the lovebotz bangin bench? it comes in a flat rectangular box and does come apart by twisting the legs. It’s about 1 foot wide by 2 feet long and .5 feet tall when in the box. The red piece is what makes it the thickest.
Hopefully that helps, let me know if you have any other questions about it.
Too big to carry like a suit case probably too big for even a large trash bag best thing is keep original box and use it 1 strong person can carry it that box was preformed Styrofoam that helps protect it from damage during shipping
Hi there, i just stumbled upon this website just now while looking in google for Monkey rockers, and i would like to offer the following link to my own Custom made Brushed Aluminium Sex Rocker that i spent 6 months designing and building, and now i have finally completed what i hope is the final prototype ready for production to anyone who wants to buy one.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmuJwv0xFAI&t=28s
How this came about is a long story, but i originally bought the plans for a Funky Rocker from the website link below, but after i spent 1 month building it to those specs, i found that it was not working the way i thought it should, and my test pilot (an asian masseuse) compained that the angles of each of the settings we not comfortable, so i decided that some modifications were needed, so i drew up my own plans, and basically built a completely new Rocker, and modified it until my test pilot was happy with it, and i also managed to eliminate most of the dildo angle settings because they never worked properly on the original Rocker anyway.
http://www.funkyrocker.com/Buy-Plans.html
After building my new Rocker in MDF, i decided to try building it using 3mm thick Aluminium plate, and sanding the surface of each part before bolting it all together, and i ended up with what i believe is the best Sex Rocker out there on the market, and it can be sold in its original brushed Aluminium state, or i can provide it powdercoated in almost whatever color you like, at an additional $200au.
I live in Australia, and i can ship it in a box fully assembled for approx $60au.
The brushed aluminium version of the Rocker as it is in the video is $750au plus postage.
Email orders can be sent to [email protected]
Cheers
The LoveBotz Glider is seriously hopeless, my wife tried one 2 years ago and there was no way to get the dildo to slide up and down the right way so that when she was sitting upright, it could slide into her pussy naturally, she hated it.
The F-Slider is much much better than the LoveBotz Glider, and the original Monkey Rocker would be the best out of those 3 machines, but all 3 are made from wood, and they are very flimsy and have far too much sideways loose play in the rocker arms, making them unstable, mine sits on the gloor and glides back and forth much better than those 3 do.
My Aluminium Sex Rocker has a default dildo angle of 90 degrees to the seat, and simply goes up and down as you rock, with the length of insertion depending on the length of the dildo used, and by how far forward or backwards you rock it.
I have a dildo angle adjustment plate on the front lower rail that can be used to tilt the dildo about 5 degres forward or 5 degrees back from the default 90 degree angle, as my test pilot claimed that any more than this, the dildo hit the front or back wall of her pussy and made it uncomfortable to ride vigorously.
My rocker does not have a dildo height adjustment either, it is designed for using a 6″ or 7″ or 8″ suction cup based dildo (as you will see in my slideshow video) so if you use the 6″ dildo the depth of insertion is less that the 7″ or 8″ dildo, as some women are smaller than others, some women don’t always like deep penetration either, so they will use the dildo that best suits their needs with my machine.
I have had 3 demo parties so far with groups of women (and a few couples) who all tested my machine out, and every one who rode it was very happy with the way it worked, and all of them agreed that the vibration King Cock dildos that i provided were ideal sizes for them as well.
I have now made a perspex adaptor bracket that will allow my wife to use her favorite sex toys on her rocker as well, which is a Fun Factory “Miss Bi” and “Big Boss G5”
I am so happy to see our F-Slider featured here! (I’m the US Rep for Cloud 9 Novelties.) I already love your blog, but this just made my day!
I bought the original monkey rocker for my wife my girlfriend helped me set it up and took the first ride she loved it has 2 different insertion positions she like the lesser but said she could position herself to get the longer stroke too someone asked if it could be carried like a suitcase not really it comes assembled you just had the handle you hold onto takes a bit trying to fiqure out the giant O ring that holds the dildo but it works as it should we didn’t use the adapter for our own dildo it’s a little pricey I gave $585 but it came ups in a week the instructions for the handle are vague but we fiqured it out and over all seeing the fun and how horny it made my girlfriend I give it 5 stars
